BIOGRAPHY

Franco-Peruvian violinist and violist. She began her violin studies at the age of 3 with the conductor and violinist Renso Sánchez, who was her mentor until 2019.
At the age of 7, she made her musical debut as a soloist with the Arequipa Symphony Orchestra, with which she plays regularly nowadays. She was also invited as a soloist by the “Appassionato” Chamber Orchestra, the Trujillo Symphony Orchestra, the Cusco Symphony Orchestra, the “Edgar Valcárcel” Youth Orchestra, among others.
In 2017, she had the great opportunity to perform as the unique soloist at the 13th International Meeting of Symphony Orchestras in San Fernando (Chile).


In 2018 she was named the absolute winner of the first Young Soloists Competition organized by the Arequipa Symphony Orchestra; and a few months later she was invited by the Trujillo Symphony Orchestra to participate in the Young Soloists cycle.
In 2019, she entered the Toulouse Conservatory in violin with Clara Cernat.
in 2021, she began to study viola in Louis Merlet's class

Since the age of 6, Géraldine has been performing duo recitals with piano, a formation that has always fascinated her and which she continues to explore with the pianist Aloïs Coste.


In 2022, she obtained two diplomas in the disciplines of violin and viola and entered the Haute École de Musique de Genève.


In August 2024, she presented herself on stage with renowned violinist Clara Cernat and prestigious pianist Thierry Huillet in a concert organized by the Sociedad Filarmónica in Lima, and in Arequipa during the "Arequipa Music Festival & Academy".


She is currently in her final year of Bachelor's degree at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in the class of Sergey Ostrovsky and is organizer of the “Arequipa Music Festival & Academy” together with Clara Cernat, Aloïs Coste and Renso Sánchez.
